The Problem
AI-powered UI needed flexible infrastructure—but none of the cloud options fit.
Coframe’s core product depends on running GPU-intensive workloads for inference and experimentation. But launching their generative UI product meant facing a classic startup dilemma: they needed to scale quickly, serve unpredictable demand, and stay cost-effective — all without hiring an infrastructure team.
At one point, the team considered renting bare-metal clusters from a traditional cloud provider, but that option required committing to long-term contracts, managing queues and scaling manually, and delaying their launch while building out DevOps. Coframe needed to move fast — and building infrastructure wasn’t what made their “beer taste better.”
Coframe couldn’t afford to sink time into building infrastructure. Diverting engineering resources away from their generative UI product would have slowed their momentum in a fast-moving market.
The Solution
From zero to production-ready: Runpod Serverless in under a week.
Coframe chose Runpod Serverless to power inference for their generative UI product. After testing multiple GPU models, they found that RTX 4090s offered the best cost-to-performance ratio for their custom diffusion workload — benchmarking close to A100s, but at a third of the cost.
With Runpod's FlashBoot tech, their endpoints scaled from zero to hundreds of concurrent workers in under 250ms — all without any warm-up engineering. And with a single-click container deployment pipeline, they went from prototype to launch in less than a week.
“The setup process was great—very quick and easy. Runpod had the exact GPUs we needed for AI inference and the pricing was very fair based on what I saw out on the market.”

The Result
Launched to thousands of users in a day—and kept scaling.
Coframe’s launch was a breakout success. Their latest product, Living Images, shot to #1 on Product Hunt with over 800 upvotes and thousands of users in a single day. With Runpod handling the backend, the team scaled effortlessly — no delays, no outages, no scaling bottlenecks.
Today, Coframe powers enterprise-grade personalization for web apps, ecommerce, and digital products. They’ve reported a 54% conversion lift for large enterprise customers, with one segment reaching 352% improvement in CTR — in just two weeks.
“The main value proposition for us was the flexibility Runpod offered. We were able to scale up effortlessly to meet the demand at launch.”
