For earlier-stage startups with real AI workloads and a clear path to scale. Get $1,000 in credits to get started on Runpod with full platform access and self-serve onboarding.
Best fit: Pre-Series A startups with working products and near-term GPU needs.

How many credits will my startup receive?
It depends on your tier. Growth Tier members commit $50,000 upfront and receive $25,000 in bonus credits — giving you $75,000 total to start. Starter Tier members receive $1,000 in credits to get started on the platform. Both tiers can use credits across any Runpod product — Pods, Serverless, Instant Clusters, or Storage.
Do I need to be venture-backed to apply?
Venture backing is strongly preferred. Most startups accepted into the program have raised funding (Seed through Series B+), as it typically signals the team strength, traction, and growth trajectory we look for. That said, we review every application holistically. If you're pre-funding or bootstrapped, our self-serve platform offers the same powerful infrastructure with pay-as-you-go access — no application needed.
I'm already a Runpod customer. Can I apply?
The Runpod Startup Program is primarily designed for new customers onboarding for the first time. If you're an existing customer and your current spend is below the Growth Tier threshold, you may still be eligible — reach out to us and we'll evaluate on a case-by-case basis. For existing customers interested in volume discounts, enterprise benefits, or dedicated support, contact your account manager or email sales@runpod.io.
What's the acceptance rate?
The Runpod Startup Program is selective — we can't accept every applicant. We provide significant resources and dedicated support to each program member, so we focus on startups where there's a strong mutual fit. If you're not accepted, you can still use Runpod's full platform immediately through self-serve signup.
What is the credit match program?
When you join the Growth Tier, you commit $50,000 upfront and we add $25,000 in bonus credits to your account — so you start with $75,000 total. Credits are loaded immediately alongside your deposit under a 12-month agreement. There's no credit reload — this is a one-time bonus designed to help funded startups hit the ground running with meaningful compute from day one.
